One item that will be up for discussion is the proposal by the Lower St. Lawrence President to amend the LSL Constitution so that no members can have house teams outside of the LSL. That would mean that all NGS house teams would be noncontact starting next season and that we would not be allowed to have any contact house teams in the UCL. The Executive would like to retain the option of having house teams in both leagues and would like to have as many members present at the AGM to discuss this issue. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!
Calling all Coaches!!! The NGS Executive has set a deadline of Thursday, July, 31st, 2008 as the cut off end date for accepting Coaching Applications for the 2008/2009 NGS Hockey Season.
If you are considering putting your name in as a Coach for next season please contact Ron Metcalfe by email or phone before July, 31st, 2008.
We realize that most Coaches will ultimately end up coaching a team on which their own child is on but we also do welcome names from individuals who might have an interest in coaching one of our NGS teams but do not have a child on that particular team.
